Active Membership Defined

Active Individual membership is limited to those who participate actively in any one of the Coalition’s Workgroups, Task Teams or Ad Hoc Committees for at least 6 months in the course of any 1-year period.

Active Members are expected to help in setting workgroup and committee objectives and contributing to the realization of these objectives.

Working groups have access to their own closed discussion fora in addition to the public ones listed in "Groups". They elect their co-chairs who serve on the COGSSDPE Steering Committee.

To become an active member please apply to join one our Groups!

To Limit Emails Received:

To limit the number of emails you get from our site, please go to the "My Page" tab at the top of this page. Select the "Settings" wheel on the upper right hand side.Then select "E-mail" and limit the number of e-mails you receive by selecting ONLY those you want.

To limit the "activity reports" that post from your account to others - you can go to the "Privacy" tab and checking ONLY "new content I add" and "events".

You can see all of the discussions by clicking the "Forum" tab on the menu bar above or by clicking "View All" in the Forum section.

Featured discussions appear at the top of the list below. Otherwise discussions are organized into categories related to each COGSS & DPE working group or task team.

To read and join in please click on the Category and then on the Subject. To contribute select "Add Reply". If no existing discussion fits your subject please select "Add Discussion" and choose a subject heading carefully to guide the thread.

To follow a discussion click one of the buttons at bottom of the discussion page. "Follow" to receive emails or "RSS" to read it when you like with your favorite RSS reader.
